Special School Learning how to use a washing machine
Secondary (GLD)
Aged 11-16 yrs

We taught our students to use various
household appliances which in came in handy
for washing and ironing clothes for a charity
clothes sale. One of our students how is deaf
and blind was taught how to use the ATM and
to recognise the braille she requires to use it
accurately.

Students that have been on the exchanges
tried labelling their own baggage at new
machines in the airport and throughout our
school and classrooms there are various
interactive screens, computers etc. that the Practising ironing
students are becoming confident in using.
