As part of our World Book Day celebrations on Thursday 6th March, the students in Wenning and Calder classes were treated to a sensory story walk. We went on a Bear Hunt! We used the Michael Rosen’s Youtube story clip to get in the mood and then we went around our school grounds, experiencing the various elements of the story in a sensory way. This included splashing in a water tray, walking through the forest and experiencing a switch accessed snowstorm! We found the bear in the cave and it is safe to say that everyone had lots of fun!
