This term, students have been scaling new heights – literally – on the climbing wall at PCHS. These weekly adventures have given our young climbers the chance to take part in testing their limits in an exciting and supportive environment.
The climbing sessions have been a hit so far, with students taking on routes tailored to their suitability. Whether they’ve been scared of heights or never done it before, everyone embraced the challenge, they developed problem solving skills, resilience and teamwork.
“It feels good when you reach the top” shared one young person. “It’s hard and scary at first”, said another. Instructors have been on hand to support as well as students cheering each other on and celebrating every climb, no matter how big or small.
