At PCHS & C we support our pupils to develop their character through teaching about values and virtues that promote good conduct and positive interaction with others. This is embedded daily with our values-led merit system – Honesty, Embrace Diversity, Ambition, Respect, Togetherness.
These school values also encompass the 6 pillars that have been identified to demonstrate character which are trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and good citizenship. We support our pupils, as much as they are able, to develop as responsible, respectful and active citizens through our core values, curriculum opportunities and school policies such as:
