It takes a team to put on a good show and the team really pulled together this year. Every class had long debates about their contribution and how they could make it better, some chose to make videos to best tell their story, others embraced the nostalgia of songs from their past that tugged on the heart strings or had the audience joining in. A smattering of our best singers from across school and college helped set the bar high and hopefully encouraged some aspiration and inspiration for next year, with some very tricky songs from the musicals or two hands from memory on the keyboard while singing. Some classes went all out making their props and learning their dance routines whilst others managed to get both boys and girls singing with gusto… not something every secondary school finds easy to encourage. Thanks to the whole team we pulled two lovely half days of entertainment…which was made even more special by the parents, carers, families and governors who made the effort to come and see us…thanks so much for your applause…it really matters!
