Our annual Careers week ended on a high last week, when we had Ian and Dom visit us from Graham Engineering. The company is located in Nelson and is one of the local area’s largest employers. They came to talk to our students about apprenticeships, as it is something the company is passionate about promoting, and serves as a pathway for young people wanting to start a career in engineering. The talk was very interesting and PCHS&C students had lots of questions for the company representatives. Dom is currently an apprentice on the programme and was very positive about everything. We hope to set up a site visit to the company in the near future.
